Our mission everyday is to create worthwhile experiences that inspire loyalty & foster community. Each team member plays a valuable role in accomplishing this mission. The hospitality staff creates a environment where customers feel comfortable and welcome. The kitchen staff creates a fresh and excellent product. From dishwashing to crafting food and drinks to management, each person is vital to accomplishing our mission. We work together each day to make sure that we are creating worthwhile experiences that inspire loyalty and foster community by collaborating, being flexible, and maintaining a positive attitude.
 

Our team is made up of the following positions, with many staff members wearing multiple "hats":


HOSPITALITY STAFF (Front of House):

  • Bus person: primary duties are to clear & clean the entire front of house, bathrooms, meeting space, & patio so guests can enjoy a clean and welcoming environment

  • Cashier: primary duties are to provide a first point of contact with the guest, clearly communicate, execute cash and card transactions, assist in serving food & beverage

  • Brewer: primary duties are to brew excellent coffee, brew tea, make smoothies, and assist the barista with building excellent beverages

  • Barista: primary duties are to craft excellent beverages for each customer by dialing in the espresso, handle multiple tickets at a time, craft each beverage as desired by the guest, and assist in providing a welcoming environment to each guest

  • Certified Barista: this is a certification that can be achieved after passing all Counter Culture Coffee classes and the certification exam

  • FOH Shift Leader: primary duties are to make sure that all front of house duties are running smoothly, filling in gaps, assisting with training, maintaining FOH inventory, and making sure each guest has an excellent experience

  • FOH Trainer: primary duties are to walk with new trainees through our training system to ensure they are properly trained, pass training tests, and can execute their job successfully

KITCHEN STAFF (Back of House)

  • Dish: primary duties are to clear & clean plates & prep dishes, kitchen, storage areas, & equipment to help ensure that all guests are served food on a clean plate and that the kitchen is a sanitary & clean environment

  • Prep Cook: primary duties are to maintain the integrity of our recipes by cooking and baking thoughtfully, maintaining prep inventory, juggling multiple prep items at a time, ensuring all health department requirements are met as you prep to prevent food-borne illness 

  • Line: primary duties are to maintain the integrity of our menu offerings by building each plate thoughtfully, maintaining line inventory, juggling multiple line items at a time, ensuring all health department requirements are met as you prep to prevent food-borne illness, and ensuring that each customer receives an excellent product

  • Catering Prep & Line: primary duties are to maintain the integrity of our menu offerings by preparing each box or tray thoughtfully, maintaining catering inventory, juggling multiple catering items at a time, ensuring all health department requirements are met as you prep to prevent food-borne illness, and making sure each final product is neat and presentable.

  • BOH Shift Leader: primary duties are to make sure that all back of house duties are running smoothly, filling in gaps, assisting with training, maintaining BOH inventory, and making sure each guest has an excellent experience

  • BOH Trainer: primary duties are to walk with new trainees through our training system to ensure they are properly trained, pass training tests, and can execute their job successfully

MANAGEMENT

  • Catering Manager: primary duties are to see that catering products are well planned, the team is managed, and products are delivered on time and that each customer is fully satisfied with our systems, communications, and final products that make their group event a stress-free success

  • Assistant Manager: fully trained in BOH & FOH, ensuring all systems run effectively in FOH & BOH, filling in gaps with hands-on assistance to accomplish our mission, ensuring that each team member has the tools and training required to make them successful, communicating and responding to customer feedback, and balancing labor & inventory costs

  • General Manager: management of marketing, finances, staffing, permitting, community relations, & business growth
