Coffee Classes Starting in February!

We are excited to be offering Saturday coffee classes again - and this time, there's more options! Classes will meet in our East Lake shop on the 2nd Saturday of each month and at our Hoover Library location on the 1st Saturday of each month. We hope to see you there!

 

Coffee Sample Tasting from 10am-2pm

Come try a sample of our favorite coffees this season! 

Cost: FREE

 

Coffee & Espresso 101: Tasting & Discussion at 10:30am-11:30am

Are you wanting to learn more about tasting quality coffees, good vs bad espresso, basic coffee brewing, & more? We will taste our seasonal coffees, discuss different tastes around the world, try a pourover, & try espresso. This class is excellent for beginners wanting to expand their coffee knowledge.

Cost: $5

 

Brew Methods Class at 12:30pm-1:30pm

What is the best way to brew coffee? Come experience several coffee brew methods: from pourover, french press, classic drip, a classic percolator, & more! You can see which methods bring out the best flavors by tasting them yourself.

Cost: $10

 

Coffee with a Barista at 2pm-3pm

Come grab your free samples of our coffees & sit with some of our baristas. Rotating topical discussion will include:

  • Ethics in the Coffee World: The Fight for Equality across the Coffee Supply Chain (February/June)

  • The Seed to Cup Process: How Your Coffee Is Grown & Processed (March/July)

  • Brewing at Home: How to Brew Your Best Cup at Home (April/August)

  • Barista 101: What Is Your Barista is Doing Behind the Counter? (May/September)
